Surrender Your Burdens to our Lord and Trust in Him
This morning, while saying my prayers, I suddenly found myself in a procession of saintly people, and our Lord Jesus was in front of us. He was carrying a big white dog.
All of a sudden, our Lord Jesus turned around, and He threw the dog at me. The dog landed on my left shoulder. Shocked, I didn’t know what to do, so I just threw the dog back to our Lord Jesus.
Our Lord asked me, “Why did you throw it back?”
“He didn’t want to stay with me,” I replied.
Then our Lord said to me, “You see, in the morning you get up, and you say: ‘Lord Jesus, I surrender my leg to You. Please, please, please make it better, I can’t walk.’ All day you carry on with this until you go to bed—you never stop saying that.”
“I Am not deaf, you know. Once is enough that you tell Me. I know all about that. And that is for everybody.”
The Lord showed me that the dog represents the burden I carry all day. I surrendered my leg injury to our Lord and then, as I was still suffering and in deep pain, I started to think that maybe our Lord Jesus had forgotten about me. I didn’t trust Him, that is why He threw the dog back to me.
This is a lesson for all of us: once we surrender our burdens to our Lord, we should have faith and trust in Him that He will take care of everything.
