Praying for Sinners With Hearts as Hard as Rocks
This morning, at five o’clock, I could not sleep due to the pain in my leg. I prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Holy Rosary, and said, “I offer these prayers and suffering for all the sinners and especially the young people.”
The Angel then appeared and took me to a Church, its whole interior illuminated with a radiant light.
I could see a beautiful, tall priest preparing for Holy Mass. This priest was all aglow.
In my hands appeared a bowl of little rocks, which I carried into the Church. I sat in one of the pews holding the bowl of rocks. They were all the same size. Seated behind me was a nice lady dressed all in white, and there were other people present.
The priest said, “I will not celebrate the Holy Mass and give you Holy Communion. You have to bring the little rocks in the Sacristy so that I can bless them, and then you will receive Holy Communion.”
I turned to the lady sitting behind me and said, “I hold a dish full of these little rocks. Not in my lifetime or at any time have I ever remembered anybody talking to me about bringing little rocks to Church to have them blessed. Would you like a few of these rocks from my dish? ”
The lady seemed hesitant at first, but then said, “Alright, you can give them to me.”
I grabbed a handful of the rocks and gave them to her.
The lady continued, “I am from Cambodia, and I want to tell you that Australia is very filthy and dirty.”
“Oh!” I said.
“And America is even worse! Even more dirty,” she continued. The filth the lady is referring to is sin.
I asked, “What about Cambodia?”
She said, “Oh no, Cambodia is not so filthy or dirty.”
Suddenly, all of the people stood up and walked in procession into the Sacristy to see the priest. I went along with them.
Smiling, the priest said, “Put them down,” indicating that we all place our dishes on a small stand nearby. I did so, noting my dish was the biggest.
“I will bless them,” He said.
I then said to the priest, “Father, I never remember that in the Church you bring rocks for blessing before Holy Communion. Who gave the idea to do that? That is not the Catholic Faith.”
After I had said these words to the priest, I walked out of the Church, and he immediately followed me. I did not see any of the other people, nor did we receive Holy Communion.
Again, I repeated my concerns to him about the rocks and said, “Father, never in my life did I bring rocks to Church. What is the meaning of this?”
The priest was smiling when he replied, “Yes, yes, in the 1700s, there was a priest who used to bless little rocks, but after all, they are all the Creation of God.” He told me the name of the priest, but I could not remember.
I said to the priest, “There was a lady in the Church from Cambodia, and she told me that Australia is very filthy and dirty and that America is even worse.”
He smiled and said, “Don’t worry too much about that.”
I said, “I don’t know—she kept repeating it to me. What do you make out of that?”
He responded, “Well, we better pray for Australia and we better pray for America.”
He then showed me a building in the process of being constructed. He said, “Have a look here. See, people keep building and building, and that is what makes people dirty and filthy. They don’t worry about prayer, just materialism—they want more and more. They only worry about how many houses they are going to build.”
The priest smiled the whole time and told me not to worry too much because he knew I was concerned about the rocks—he tried to cheer me up.
The Angel then brought me back home.
I understood later, after the Holy Spirit revealed to me, that the rocks represent the hardened hearts of the people I offered to our Lord during my morning prayers. Our Lord still accepts them, and He will bless them because there is always hope that their hearts will open up.
