Jesus Knocking at the Doors of People’s Hearts
This morning, after the Angel and I left Purgatory where we consoled the Holy Souls, the Angel showed me our Lord Jesus standing at the door of a house. I watched as He went from one door to the next, knocking each time. Nobody opened their door.
The Angel said, “You see, our Lord is still going around the world, knocking at the doors of people’s hearts, but seldom does anyone answer and open the door of their heart to Him and become devoted to Him. Instead, their hearts are colder and harder than ice or rock. He is very disappointed. Console our Lord, for He is deeply offended. The world does not want to know God, but He never gives up. He keeps knocking because He wants to save many people, but they do not want to come to Him.”
