Teaching Souls About Our Lord
During the morning, while I was praying, the Angel appeared and brought me to Purgatory to visit the Holy Souls.
We visited a group of young people. As the Angel and I passed by these souls, a man grabbed my hand and tried to keep me there.
I turned to him and told him not to touch me, asking him to let me go.
He showed me a huge tapestry depicting nature. It was very patchy and dry, with many sections unfinished.
I pointed at the tapestry and asked, “Did you do that?”
He replied, “Yes. What do you think?”
I said, “It looks good. There are a few mistakes you made, and you still have to fill the rest of it.”
He said, “It takes a long time to do, and I still haven’t finished it. They told me I can’t go away from here until I complete it. I don’t like doing this, but I have no choice.” He was unhappy because he still had a lot left to do, and the fine stitches require a lot of patience.
I said, “I can pray for you and help you, but you have to fulfil your duty and complete what you have to do.”
He said, “I am so happy to see you.” He really wanted to leave that place, and I felt sorry for him.
Then I found myself in a church with many people inside, sitting towards the back—men, women, and children. Towards the front of the church was an Altar with the Holy Tabernacle.
Glorifying our Lord, I genuflected, bowed my head, and made the Sign of the Cross, saying, “Glory to You, my Lord Jesus.”
When I stood up, I said to myself, “How come I am the only one who genuflects to our Lord Jesus Christ?” The Souls were all looking at me and did not say anything.
Suddenly, everyone stood up and left the church in a procession, and I followed. Then we all came back in, and I genuflected again. This happened a third time: I followed them out, came back in, and I genuflected once more. However, this time, the people returned and lined up to approach a Priest, and I followed. Then, they went to the right and disappeared.
When I reached the Priest, He had already turned to leave. I was so disappointed and thought, ‘Oh no, I missed Holy Communion. I shouldn’t have followed them.’
The Priest sat in the middle with people on either side. I went up to Him and said, “Excuse me, I came too late and would like to receive Holy Communion, but You already left.”
He said, “Oh, it’s too late now. You should be here on time. Don’t worry, you don’t have to receive Holy Communion.”
I said, “Do You know what? It only takes one minute. You don’t want to spend even one minute of your time for Jesus. He sacrificed His life for your life and for all of us. He didn’t say no.”
After I said this, the Priest just sank into his chair.
Then I understood these souls couldn’t genuflect because, while living on earth, they had the chance to do so but did not. Now, they are in Purgatory before the Blessed Sacrament, but they do not receive any benefit from that, and they are not allowed to genuflect. They just wait there, unable to do anything, waiting for our prayers and offerings, so they can leave. I understood they were doing their reparation in this church. They could not genuflect because they were no longer alive.
When they went up to the Priest and disappeared to the right, they left this church and moved on.
Later, Our Lord revealed to me that the Priest was actually Himself!
Smiling, I said, “Lord, You are full of surprises.”
