What People Are Like in the World Today
This morning, while I was praying, the angel appeared. He said, “Come, I will show you something.”
He took me to a place which looked like a heavenly garden. This garden had a tall, beautiful tree, all green and alive, with beautiful colourful decorations.
I said to the angel, “Gee, that is beautiful. Is that a Christmas decoration?”
He said, “No, this is not a Christmas decoration. This is how people are in the world today. When they come and approach you, they are so friendly, charming and sweet-talking. But they do not mean what they say and what they tell you. But that is not just for you—it is for everyone.”
“Come! I will show you the back of the tree.”
I followed the angel to see the back of the tree and was shocked to see how bare, dry and rotten it was.
As he was showing me the other side of the tree, he said, “That’s how people are. They praise you and tell you beautiful things to make you believe that they really mean it, but that is only in the front. Behind is a different story, and in their hearts, they don’t really mean what they say. What they say is not sincere and is all lies. Be careful, and don’t believe the sweet talk. Always turn to our Lord and trust in Him.”
